A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

After completing my graphic design studies in 2005 ,  I was fortunate to break into the film industry. Since 2008, I've been a member of Scanline VFX Germany , initially working as a character and VFX animator, and from 2013 onward, taking on the roles of Animation Supervisor and Creature Animator. Around 2017, I began coding in Python as Autodesk Maya became increasingly significant in my professional life. Over time, coding in Python and PyQt has developed from a personal interest in desktop and mobile app creation into a central pillar of my professional role at ScanlineVFX, particularly in the development of pipeline and animation tools.

My passion, both within and outside of my professional work, is dedicated to art. This primarily includes animation, drawing and designing. In recent years, the increasing significance of AI has further enriched my creative journey.  Even though I’ve been working as an animator for nearly 20 years now, there have always been other things that fascinated me ...  things I’ve happily dedicated a big part of my free time to.
